Santa Clara and GIL Vicente draw a thrilling 2-2
Ponta Delgada, Ilha de São Miguel, Açores. The Estádio de São Miguel witnessed an exciting encounter between Santa Clara and GIL Vicente, which ended in a 2-2 draw in a match that kept the tension until the last minute.
The match started with an early goal from S. Lima for Santa Clara in the 13th minute, assisted by Gabriel Silva. However, GIL Vicente did not give up and managed to equalize in the 28th minute thanks to a goal from S. Garcia, with an assist from J. Mboula.
The second half began at a frantic pace. In the 38th minute, Diogo Calila put Santa Clara ahead with a goal again assisted by Gabriel Silva. GIL Vicente, in an attempt to equalize the score, went on the attack and generated several scoring opportunities. Finally, they managed to equalize in the 90th minute with a missed penalty by Santa Clara.
