Glasgow, October 24, 2024 – Rangers defeated FCSB by 4-0 in a UEFA Europa League match marked by yellow cards and home dominance. Rangers dominated the match from the first minute, creating numerous scoring opportunities and controlling possession of the ball.
The match started with an early goal by T. Lawrence in the 10th minute, after an assist from V. Cerny. FCSB, despite the disadvantage, tried to react, but was hampered by Rangers’ high press and yellow cards received by Luis Phelipe (16′), M. Stefanescu (35′) and M. Popescu (43′).
The second half began with a triple change in the FCSB ranks, but this failed to slow down the pace of Rangers. V. Cerny scored two goals in the 31st and 55th minutes, showing great individual skill.
