FC BW Linz and WSG Wattens draw in a tight match
FC BW Linz and WSG Wattens drew 1-1 in a thrilling match at the Tivoli Stadion Tirol in Innsbruck. The encounter was marked by midfield battles and effectiveness in attack from both teams.
The first goal came in the 29th minute when J. Lawrence scored an own goal after a poor clearance by the WSG Wattens defense.
The second half was much more dynamic with several chances for both teams. WSG Wattens had more possession of the ball (60%) and took more shots (10) but only managed one goal.
In the 83rd minute, M. Taferner equalized for WSG Wattens with a powerful shot that surprised the FC BW Linz goalkeeper.
