Gamba Osaka staged an epic comeback at home to defeat Consadole Sapporo 2-1 in the 33rd round of the J1 League. The match, played at Panasonic Stadium Suita, was marked by a first half dominated by Sapporo, who took the lead thanks to a goal by H. Shirai in the 8th minute.
However, Gamba Osaka came out strong in the second half and managed to equalize in the 90th minute with a goal from T. Usami. Just seconds later, Usami scored again from the penalty spot, sealing the victory for Gamba.
