FC Vitebsk edged out FC Minsk in a close encounter
FC Vitebsk secured a 2-1 victory over FC Minsk in a thrilling match played at the “Stadyen Central’ny Vitsyebski” stadium in Vitebsk.
The first half was relatively balanced, with few scoring opportunities for both sides. The only notable action was the opening goal in the 45th minute by FC Vitebsk, courtesy of a goal by E. Krasnov assisted by M. Krasnov.
The second half began with FC Vitebsk maintaining their lead. In the 75th minute, J. Mustafa equalized for FC Minsk, assisted by V. Vasiljev. However, Minsk’s joy was short-lived as K. Vardanyan scored for FC Vitebsk in the 77th minute, giving the home side the final victory.
