Tondela beat Torreense in a thrilling match
Tondela defeated Torreense by 2-0 in a match of the 7th round of the Portuguese Second League. The match was played at the Campo Manuel Marques in Torres Vedras and was marked by intensity and a fight for control of the ball.
The first goal came in the 10th minute, when T. Manso took advantage of a precise pass from E. Maviram to open the scoring. Despite numerous substitutions made by both teams in the second half, Tondela maintained control of the match.
Torreense tried to react, but failed to find the formula to overcome the opponent’s defense. In the 78th minute, Roberto extended Tondela’s lead with a penalty, after a foul in the area.
