Kerala Blasters beat Odisha in a thrilling encounter
The Kerala Blasters secured a convincing 3-1 win over Odisha FC in a vibrant Indian Super League match at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
The match began at a fast pace with the Kerala Blasters scoring two goals in the opening minutes. In the 18th minute, N. Sadaoui opened the scoring with a goal assisted by J. Jimenez. Three minutes later, Jimenez extended the lead with a goal also assisted by Sadaoui.
Odisha tried to respond and managed to reduce the deficit in the 29th minute. An own goal by A. Coeff, following a shot from Mauricio Diego, made it 2-1. However, Odisha’s joy was short-lived. In the 36th minute, Mauricio Diego scored a goal to make it 3-1 and seal the game.
Despite Odisha’s efforts in the second half, the Kerala Blasters managed to hold onto their lead and take home all three points. Odisha ended the game with two yellow cards, one for Puitea and another for H. Boumous.
