Girona beats Celta Vigo in a back-and-forth encounter
Girona defeated Celta Vigo 2-1 in an exciting match played at the Municipal de Balaidos. Girona dominated possession and managed to open the scoring in the 38th minute with a goal from Y. Herrera, assisted by D. Blind.
Celta Vigo responded in the second half with a goal from I. Aspas in the 81st minute, assisted by W. Swedberg. However, Girona had already extended their lead in the 72nd minute with a new goal from Portu.
