FBC Melgar Edges Out Alianza Lima in a Tight Match
Lima, Peru. FBC Melgar secured an important 2-1 victory over Alianza Lima in a matchday 13 fixture of the Peruvian Primera División Clausura Tournament.
The match was played at the Estadio Alejandro Villanueva and was characterized by intensity and excitement. The first goal came in the 31st minute thanks to a goal by J.P. Archimbaud, who took advantage of an assist from T. Martinez to put the visitors in the lead.
In the second half, Alianza Lima came out with more force and managed to equalize the match in the 53rd minute with a goal from J. D’Arrigo. However, FBC Melgar did not let themselves be intimidated and regained the lead in the 79th minute with a goal from C. Bordacahar.
