Anderlecht defeats Ferencvarosi TC in a thrilling match
Brussels, September 25, 2024 – Anderlecht defeated Ferencvarosi TC 3-1 in a UEFA Europa League group stage match played at the Lotto Park in Brussels. The game was marked by the expulsion of an Anderlecht player in the 81st minute, but the Belgian side managed to hold on to the lead they had built in the first half.
Anderlecht opened the scoring in the 60th minute with a goal from Yari Verschaeren, assisted by Mario Stroeykens. Seven minutes later, Kasper Dolberg extended the lead from the penalty spot.
