Universitatea Craiova grabs an epic win over Universitatea Cluj
Cluj-Napoca, September 22, 2024 – In an exciting encounter in the Romanian Liga I, Universitatea Craiova defeated Universitatea Cluj 1-2 in the tenth round of the regular season. The match, played at the Cluj Arena, was marked by a number of cautions and intense back-and-forth play.
The first half was marked by a clear possession advantage for the visiting team, Universitatea Cluj. However, it was Universitatea Craiova who opened the scoring in the 39th minute thanks to a goal from M. Thiam, assisted by D. Nistor.
