Sandy, Utah – Real Salt Lake edged out the Portland Timbers 4-3 in a thrilling match at America First Field. The home side dominated the first half, with goals from D. Marczuk in the 10th minute and D. Luna in the 22nd minute.
However, the Timbers rallied in the second half. Antony pulled one back in the 62nd minute, and Evander scored twice in the 76th and 90th minutes to level the score.
Real Salt Lake refused to be denied and secured the victory with a goal from D. Goncalves in the 90th minute.
