Chelsea thrashed West Ham in an intense match

Chelsea beat West Ham by a resounding 4-0 in a match played at the London Stadium this Saturday. The Blues dominated from the start, with an inspired N. Jackson who scored two goals and assisted on another.

The first goal came in the 4th minute, thanks to a great individual play by J. Sancho who left N. Jackson alone in front of the goalkeeper. The striker didn’t forgive and opened the scoring.

Chelsea’s superiority became apparent in the 18th minute, when N. Jackson scored again, this time with an assist from M. Caicedo. West Ham tried to react, but the Chelsea defense was solid.

In the second half, Chelsea continued their dominance. C. Palmer scored the third goal in the 47th minute, after an assist from N. Jackson, who became the figure of the match.

Despite the heavy defeat, West Ham had some chances to score, but a lack of precision in the finish and a solid performance by the Chelsea goalkeeper prevented the Hammers from cutting the deficit.

Statistics:

West Ham had 53% possession of the ball, but only managed 7 shots on target out of 14. Chelsea, for their part, had 47% possession, 5 shots on target out of 11, and converted most of their chances into goals.

Bookings:

West Ham received 4 yellow cards, while Chelsea received 2.

Chelsea remain in the fight for the top places in the table, while West Ham will have to improve their performance if they want to aspire to bigger things.
