Nagoya Grampus crushes Albirex Niigata in a dominant display
Toyota, Japan – Nagoya Grampus secured a resounding 3-0 victory over Albirex Niigata in a match they dominated from start to finish.
The first goal came in the 15th minute courtesy of Y. Nogami, assisted by T. Morishima. K. Nagai extended the lead in the 44th minute, with an assist from K. Shiihashi, to give Nagoya a comfortable advantage going into halftime.
In the second half, Nagoya continued to press and T. Kikuchi sealed the victory with a goal in the 78th minute, assisted by S. Tokumoto.
Despite Nagoya’s complete dominance, holding 36% possession, Albirex Niigata tried to fight back but could only manage two shots on target.
The victory solidifies Nagoya Grampus’ position in the top half of the table, while Albirex Niigata remains in a battle for survival.
