Argentinos Juniors beats Newell’s Old Boys in an exciting match
Capital Federal, Argentina: Argentinos Juniors defeated Newell’s Old Boys by a convincing 3-0 score in a vibrant match of the 14th round of the second phase of the Liga Profesional Argentina.
The first goal of the game came in the 18th minute, thanks to a goal by A. Lescano assisted by J. Herrera. Herrera himself extended the lead in the 37th minute, with an assist from A. Rodriguez.
The second half continued with the same intensity, with Argentinos Juniors dominating the match. Herrera completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute, scoring an unassisted goal.
Despite yellow cards to F. Alvarez and A. Lescano for Argentinos Juniors, and I. Ramirez for Newell’s Old Boys, the game unfolded without major incidents.
