Sport Recife secures a convincing victory over CRB
Sport Recife defeated CRB 2-0 in a Brazilian Serie B match that took place this Saturday at the Itaipava Arena Pernambuco stadium in Recife.
The first goal of the match came in the 36th minute, thanks to Lucas Lima, who took advantage of a good assist to put Sport Recife in the lead. The second half of the match was characterized by greater intensity and constant pressure from Sport Recife, who finally found the second goal in the 55th minute through Ze Roberto.
CRB tried to react after the second goal, but could not find a way to the rival’s goal. The Recife team controlled the match with a possession of 44% and generated six shots on goal, two of which found the net.
CRB, for its part, dominated possession with 56%, but only managed three shots on goal.
