Fatih Karagümrük thrashed Ankaragucu in an exciting match
Fatih Karagümrük dominated the home game, beating Ankaragucu with a convincing 3-1 in the fifth round of the 1. Lig regular season.
The match started with a frenetic pace and Fatih Karagümrük quickly took the lead. Wesley opened the scoring in the 4th minute thanks to an assist from C. Kurukalip, and repeated the feat in the 11th minute, again with an assist from Kurukalip.
Ankaragucu, for their part, tried to react by making three substitutions in the 27th minute, looking to change the course of the match. However, Fatih Karagümrük remained firm in defense and continued to attack dangerously.
In the second half, Ankaragucu managed to close the gap thanks to a goal from R. Saponara in the 65th minute. However, the visitors’ joy was short-lived, as Fatih Karagümrük responded with a goal from D. Lamkel Ze in the 82nd minute, sealing the result. R. Cephas scored the consolation goal for Ankaragucu in the 84th minute.
Despite the numerous yellow cards shown to Ankaragucu players, Fatih Karagümrük were superior throughout the match. Possession was slightly in favor of Ankaragucu, but Fatih Karagümrük created more scoring chances, with 11 shots on goal to Ankaragucu’s 4.
