Santa Clara prevails in a thrilling match against AVS
Santa Clara secured an important victory over AVS by a score of 3-1 in an exciting match played at the Estádio de São Miguel, in Ponta Delgada, Ilha de São Miguel, Açores.
The match began with a dynamic pace and was marked by Santa Clara’s effectiveness. Gabriel Silva opened the scoring for the home side in the 24th minute, assisted by Adriano Firmino. However, AVS reacted quickly and J. Grau equalized in the 35th minute, assisted by None.
In the second half, the match continued with high intensity. Safira put Santa Clara back in the lead in the 58th minute with an unassisted goal. From that moment on, the home side showed more solidity and controlled the match, scoring the final 3-1.
