1. FC Magdeburg secured a convincing 4-0 victory over 1. FC Nürnberg at the Max-Morlock-Stadion in Nuremberg. The visiting side dominated the match from the outset, maintaining more possession of the ball and creating more scoring opportunities.
The first goal arrived in the 24th minute when X. Amaechi opened the scoring for Magdeburg. After the break, L. Burcu extended the lead in the 65th minute, assisted by A. Nollenberger. Nollenberger himself scored the third in the 84th minute, while P. Hercher sealed the result in the 90th.
