Huachipato beats Palestino in an exciting match
Talcahuano, Chile (August 30, 2024) – Huachipato secured a 2-1 victory over Palestino in a vibrant encounter corresponding to matchday 22 of the Chilean Primera División. The match was played at the Estadio CAP, with refereeing by Mathias Riquelme.
The first goal came in the 14th minute, when Bruno Carrasco scored from the penalty spot for Palestino. However, the visitor’s joy was short-lived, as T. Vecino equalized for Huachipato in the 16th minute.
The game remained close and exciting, with both teams seeking victory. In the second half, Huachipato proved more effective in attack, scoring the winning goal in the 85th minute thanks to a goal by C. Villanueva.
