Lille edge out Angers in tight Ligue 1 clash
Lille secured a 2-0 victory over Angers in an exciting Ligue 1 match. The first goal came in the 34th minute, courtesy of T. Meunier, assisted by H. Haraldsson. The second goal arrived in the 90th minute, with M. Bayo finding the back of the net after receiving a pass from R. Cabella.
The game was characterized by Lille’s dominance in possession (64% vs 36%) and shots on target (6 vs 2). Angers, on the other hand, committed more fouls (18 vs 9) and received two yellow cards, one for Z. Ould Khaled in the 43rd minute and the other for F. El Melali in the 63rd minute.
