Newport County vs Accrington Stanley: Newport County secure thrilling victory
Newport County secured a thrilling 4-1 victory over Accrington Stanley in a match full of action and goals.
The match started with an own goal from S. Quirk in the 12th minute, giving Newport County the early lead. However, Accrington Stanley fought back and equalised in the 38th minute with a goal from S. Whalley.
The second half of the match was even more exciting. Newport County went ahead again in the 52nd minute with a penalty converted by C. Baker-Richardson. Then, in the 63rd minute, A. Wildig scored Newport County’s third goal, virtually sealing the victory.
Despite Accrington Stanley’s efforts, Newport County managed to hold on to their lead and took home the three points.
