Macará beats Deportivo Cuenca in a thrilling match
Ambato, Ecuador – Macará secured a convincing victory over Deportivo Cuenca in an exciting encounter held at the Estadio Bellavista de Ambato. The final score was 3-1, with a Macará that dominated the first half and maintained control of the game until the end.
The game started at a rapid pace, and in just the first minute, Jonathan Marrufo put the locals ahead after a precise assist from Jonathan Espinoza. Deportivo Cuenca responded with intensity, and in the 25th minute, Pablo Magnin equalized from the penalty spot.
Macará did not waver and regained the lead in the 33rd minute, with a goal from Andrés Muñoz after a great assist from Víctor Ávila. Muñoz scored again in the 51st minute, this time with the same combination, to secure his team’s victory.
