Paks edges out Mlada Boleslav in a thrilling match
Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic – Paks secured a dramatic victory over Mlada Boleslav in the UEFA Europa Conference League, winning 3-2. The match was an exciting affair from start to finish, with goals, cards and constant substitutions.
The first half was somewhat slow, with both teams trying to find their rhythm. Paks received two yellow cards in the first 40 minutes, for B. Lenzser and K. Papp.
In the second half, the pace of the game significantly increased. Mlada Boleslav opened the scoring in the 65th minute with an own goal by A. Kinyik, assisted by V. Kusej. However, Paks responded quickly with a goal by D. Bode in the 80th minute, assisted by B. Toth.
Paks continued to press and K. Papp scored the second goal for his team in the 85th minute, assisted by D. Bode. Mlada Boleslav did not give up and T. Ladra scored a goal in the 90th minute to reduce the deficit, but it was not enough to avoid defeat.
In the final minute of the match, Paks suffered the expulsion of B. Lenzser, who received a second yellow card and then a red card.
Paks takes all three points and takes a significant step towards qualification to the next round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
