Los Angeles FC Thrashes Seattle Sounders in a Dominant Performance
Los Angeles FC dominated the Seattle Sounders in the Leagues Cup quarterfinals, winning 3-0 in a match they controlled from start to finish.
The LAFC squad showed their superiority from the outset, scoring two goals in the first half. R. Hollingshead opened the scoring in the 14th minute, while K. Kamara doubled the lead in the 25th minute.
In the second half, Los Angeles FC continued to press forward and sealed the victory with a goal from D. Bouanga in the 53rd minute, assisted by H. Lloris. Despite attempts by the Seattle Sounders to close the gap, the LAFC defense held firm and did not allow any clear scoring opportunities.
The statistics reflect the clear dominance of the LAFC side: Los Angeles FC had 37% possession but managed 9 shots on goal, 7 of which found the back of the net. Seattle Sounders, on the other hand, had 63% possession but could only manage 2 shots on goal.
