Podbrezová outscored Skalica in an exciting match
Podbrezová beat Skalica 8-1 in a vibrant match that featured goals, yellow cards, and several substitutions.
The game started at a frenetic pace and Podbrezová took the lead quickly. In the 27th minute, R. Galcik opened the scoring with a goal assisted by A. Yirajang. The home team’s joy was short-lived, as in the 40th minute V. Chyla saw a yellow card.
However, Podbrezová did not falter and in the 45th minute, A. Yirajang scored the second goal, assisted by M. Oravec. Just one minute later, R. Galcik scored his second personal goal, this time without an assist. The first half ended with another yellow card, this time for F. Mielke.
The second half began with three changes for Skalica, seeking to reverse the situation, but it was Podbrezová who continued scoring. In the 52nd minute, R. Sanusi put the score at 4-0.
Skalica managed to discount in the 62nd minute with a penalty converted by J. Vlasko. Shortly after, S. Stefanik received the yellow card in Podbrezová.
The intensity of the match did not subside and in the 73rd minute, D. Smekal scored the fifth goal for Podbrezová, assisted by R. Sanusi. One minute earlier, M. Masik saw a yellow card in Skalica.
The changes continued in both teams, but it was Podbrezová who continued to dominate. In the 90th minute, P. Juritka scored the sixth goal for his team. In the next play, an own goal by Skalica sealed the rout. The final score was 8-1.
