Reading beat Wigan with a convincing victory
Reading, Berkshire – Reading achieved a convincing victory over Wigan at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. The home team dominated possession during the first half, and managed to open the scoring in the 7th minute thanks to a goal from C. Savage, assisted by K. Ehibhatiomhan.
Wigan received a yellow card in the 40th minute, but could not do much to change the course of the match. Reading continued to press, and in the 57th minute K. Ehibhatiomhan scored the second goal, this time unassisted.
In the second half, Wigan tried to react, but it was too late. Despite several changes in their lineup, the visiting team failed to generate real danger.
Reading had possession of the ball for most of the match, and shot more times on goal. In the end, the final result was 2-0 in favor of the home team.
