Puskas Academy defeats Ararat-Armenia in an exciting match
Felcsút, Hungary – Puskas Academy defeated Ararat-Armenia 5-3 in a UEFA Europa Conference League 3rd qualifying round match held at the Puskás Akadémia Pancho Aréna.
The match started with a fast pace, and Puskas Academy took the lead in the 8th minute thanks to a goal from Z. Nagy. Ararat-Armenia responded strongly and tied the game in the 40th minute through A. Serobyan. A minute later, H. Harutyunyan put Ararat-Armenia ahead, but Puskas Academy equalized in the 47th minute through another goal from Z. Nagy.
In the second half, Ararat-Armenia was left with one player less after A. Nondi was sent off in the 62nd minute. However, the Armenian team managed to get ahead on the scoreboard in the 85th minute with a goal from J. Duarte. But Puskas Academy did not give up and scored two goals in the last minutes to seal the match. A. Favorov scored in the 90th minute and the same player scored the fifth goal in the last minute.
