Dender EH fight back to draw against Gent in a thrilling match
Dender EH battled back from a goal down to draw 2-2 against Gent in a thrilling match at the Planet Group Arena in Gent. Despite having significantly less possession, Dender managed to earn a point thanks to two second-half goals.
The first goal of the match came in the 24th minute when J. Soladio finished off a precise pass from J. Pupe to open the scoring for Dender. Gent responded quickly, equalizing in the 47th minute with a goal from D. Yokota, assisted by F. Surdez.
The match remained evenly matched until the end, with both teams having chances to score. Dender managed to equalize again in the 87th minute with a goal from M. Berte, assisted by B. Nsimba.
The match was marked by intensity and fight from both sides. Dender ended the match with 3 yellow cards, while Gent did not receive any.
Despite the draw, Dender can be pleased with their performance, especially their ability to fight back against a strong team like Gent.
