FC Slutsk secures thrilling win over FC Gomel in Belarusian Premier League
FC Slutsk triumphed over FC Gomel in a thrilling encounter at the Stadyen Central’ny in Gomel. The match, corresponding to the 16th round of the Belarusian Premier League regular season, ended with a 2-1 score in favor of the visitors.
The first goal of the match arrived in the 8th minute, when N. Melnikov scored for FC Slutsk after an assist from K. Tsepenkov. However, FC Gomel managed to equalize in the 32nd minute thanks to a goal from A. Potapenko, who was assisted by R. Effaghe.
FC Slutsk regained the lead in the 48th minute, with a goal from V. Kurlovich after an assist from S. Pushnyakov. This goal ultimately decided the fate of the match, although both teams fought intensely until the final whistle.
