IMT Novi Beograd edges out Napredak in a tight encounter
IMT Novi Beograd beat Napredak 1-0 in a closely fought match at the SRC Kolubara in Lazarevac, corresponding to the third round of the Serbian Super League.
The match was characterized by a balanced game and possession of the ball, with 53% for Napredak and 47% for IMT Novi Beograd. Both teams had eight chances to score, with two shots on goal each. The difference was made by a solitary goal from Nikola Terzic in the 65th minute, after an assist from a teammate.
Napredak tried to react, but failed to capitalize on any of their opportunities. In the 90th minute, Marko Saric scored for Napredak, but the goal came too late to avoid defeat.
