Liverpool Overwhelms Brighton at Anfield in Decisive Victory
Liverpool, England – In a match held at Anfield, Liverpool overpowered Brighton with a convincing victory, demonstrating superiority both on the scoreboard and in game control. Despite Brighton maintaining a slight advantage in ball possession with 52% compared to Liverpool’s 48%, the home side proved to be much more effective in attack.
The score opened in the 42nd minute with a goal by C. Jones, assisted by M. Kerkez. In the second half, D. Szoboszlai extended the lead in the 56th minute thanks to an assist from M. Salah. The victory was sealed with a penalty goal by M. Salah in the 68th minute.
Brighton, although attempting to react, was frustrated by Liverpool’s solid defense and the efficiency of their attack. The visiting team accumulated four yellow cards during the match, reflecting the intensity of the clash and the frustration with Liverpool’s superiority.
