Arsenal Overwhelms Aston Villa at Emirates Stadium
London, England – Arsenal convincingly defeated Aston Villa in a match held at the Emirates Stadium, for matchday 19 of the Premier League. The match, officiated by Darren England, saw Arsenal with greater goal-scoring effectiveness, despite having slightly less possession than Aston Villa (47% against 53%).
The first half ended with two yellow cards, one for M. Merino of Arsenal and another for M. Rogers of Aston Villa. Arsenal unleashed their offensive in the second half. Gabriel opened the scoring in the 48th minute, followed by M. Zubimendi in the 52nd minute, increasing the lead for the home side. L.
