Ipswich Defeats Coventry in Card-Filled Match
Ipswich, England – In a match held at Portman Road, Ipswich Town triumphed over Coventry City with a final score of 3 to 0. The game, corresponding to matchday 19 of the Championship, was marked by intensity and numerous cautions.
The first half was a tight affair, evidenced by early yellow cards shown to G. Hirst of Ipswich and J. Eccles and M. Grimes of Coventry. However, it was Ipswich who managed to break the deadlock in the 43rd minute thanks to a goal by S. W. Egeli, assisted by J. Philogene, taking the lead into halftime.

The match continued with a high number of fouls and yellow cards, including four for Ipswich. In added time, I. Azon sealed the victory for Ipswich with a third goal in the 90th minute.
