Lazio Secures Victory in a Hard-Fought Match Against Juventus
Rome – In a tense match marked by yellow cards, Lazio managed to overcome Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico. The only goal of the game, scored by T. Basic in the 9th minute thanks to an assist from D. Cataldi, was enough to secure the three points for the home team.
Although Juventus dominated possession of the ball with 60%, they were unable to convert their opportunities in front of goal. Of the 14 shots taken, only 5 found the target, while Lazio’s defense remained firm. Lazio, with 40% possession, was more effective, capitalizing on one of their few chances to make the difference.
The match was constantly interrupted by fouls, with a total of 18 committed by Juventus and 11 by Lazio. The referee, Andrea Colombo, showed a total of six yellow cards, four to Juventus players (T. Koopmeiners, M. Locatelli, W. McKennie and L. Kelly) and two to Lazio (M. Lazzari and M. Guendouzi).
