LDU de Quito Overwhelms Palmeiras with Decisive Home Victory
Quito, Ecuador – In a match held at the Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado, LDU de Quito showcased their strength at home by defeating Palmeiras with a dominant performance. The game, part of the 2025 CONMEBOL Libertadores semi-finals, was characterized by intensity and the Ecuadorian team’s clear superiority.
From the start, the game was physical, with early yellow cards for J. Lopez of Palmeiras and C. Gruezo of LDU. At 16 minutes, G. Villamil opened the scoring for LDU with a goal assisted by L.
