Universitario Secures Victory in Tense Match Against Ayacucho FC
Lima – In a hard-fought match at the Estadio Monumental, Universitario secured a valuable victory against Ayacucho FC with a final score of 2 to 1. The match, corresponding to matchday 15 of the Clausura in the Peruvian First Division, was marked by moments of tension and alternating dominance.
Universitario took an early lead in the 16th minute with a goal by M. Perez, assisted by J. Castillo, showing their initial superiority in ball possession. However, Ayacucho FC responded quickly with a goal by J. Lucumi in the 22nd minute, leveling the score.
