Ukraine Secures Thrilling Victory Over Iceland in Reykjavík
In an electrifying match held at Laugardalsvöllur in Reykjavík, Ukraine emerged victorious against Iceland in a game filled with twists and turns. Despite Iceland dominating possession with 64%, Ukraine proved to be more clinical in front of goal, capitalizing on their opportunities to secure the win.
The match began with Ukraine taking the lead through a goal by R. Malinovskyi in the 14th minute, assisted by V. Mykolenko. However, Iceland responded and equalized in the 35th minute with a goal from M. E. Ellertsson, assisted by I. Johannesson. Before halftime, O. Gutsulyak put Ukraine back in front in the 45th minute, followed immediately by another goal from Malinovskyi, this time assisted by N. Voloshyn.
