Arsenal Defeats Olympiakos in an Intense Match at the Emirates
London, England – Arsenal defeated Olympiakos Piraeus in a hard-fought match at the Emirates Stadium, as part of the UEFA Champions League group stage. The London team dominated possession with 61% and created a higher number of goal-scoring opportunities, although Olympiakos also showed moments of danger.
The match opened early when G. Martinelli scored for Arsenal in the 12th minute, after a well-crafted play. However, Olympiakos did not give up and sought the equalizer with insistence.
