Qarabag Dominates FC Copenhagen in Baku Clash
Baku witnessed a thrilling UEFA Champions League match as Qarabag secured a victory over FC Copenhagen. The game, held at the Tofiq Bəhramov adına Respublika stadionu, was intense from the opening whistle.
Despite FC Copenhagen enjoying a slightly higher possession rate (51% compared to Qarabag’s 49%), the home side proved more clinical in front of goal. Qarabag converted on 2 of their 9 shots, while FC Copenhagen only managed to get 4 of their 12 shots on target.
The first goal of the match arrived in the 28th minute, scored by A. Zoubir, who capitalized on a precise assist from Pedro Bicalho to put Qarabag ahead. FC Copenhagen attempted to respond, but encountered a solid defense and an inspired goalkeeper.
