Wolves Secure Victory in a Hard-Fought Match Against Everton
Wolverhampton, West Midlands – Molineux Stadium witnessed a close encounter where Wolves prevailed over Everton in the third round of the League Cup. With a slightly favorable possession of 53%, Wolves managed to capitalize on their goal-scoring opportunities. The first goal came in the 29th minute, scored by M. Munetsi, sparking joy among the home fans.
Everton, although with 47% possession and a greater number of shots (16 against Wolves’ 13), struggled to convert their plays, sending 8 balls outside the goal. The first half was marred by a yellow card for T. Barry of Everton.
The second half remained tense, with both teams fighting for control of the midfield. The match was interrupted by several yellow cards, one for H. Bueno of Wolves and another for J.
