Thrilling Draw at Yankee Stadium between New York City FC and Columbus Crew
New York City, September 17, 2025 – A match full of emotions and back-and-forth action unfolded at Yankee Stadium between New York City FC and Columbus Crew, ending with a score of 4 to 2.
Columbus Crew opened the scoring in the 40th minute thanks to a penalty converted by D. Gazdag. However, H. Wolf equalized for New York City FC just before halftime, in the 45th minute.

Wolf scored his second goal of the match in the 73rd minute, tying the score once more. Just when it seemed the match would end in a draw, J. Fernandez scored the winning goal for New York City FC in the 90th minute, assisted by A. Ojeda, sealing the final result. Fernandez also got a yellow card in the 90th minute.
