Mamelodi Sundowns Dominates and Defeats Magesi in Pretoria
Pretoria, GT – Mamelodi Sundowns asserted their dominance with a resounding victory over Magesi at Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium, in a match corresponding to the Premier Soccer League. The home team controlled the match from start to finish, demonstrating a clear difference in ball possession (72% vs. 28%) and creating numerous scoring opportunities.
K. Lethlaku opened the scoring for Sundowns in the 22nd minute, assisted by T. Morena, showcasing the effectiveness of the home attack. Magesi suffered a severe blow when S. Darpoh was sent off after receiving a second yellow card in the 42nd minute, further complicating their chances.
In the second half, Sundowns’ dominance translated into more goals. I. Rayners scored a brace, in the 66th and 74th minutes, the first assisted by T. Morena and the second by A.
