Aarhus Dominates and Defeats FC Fredericia in Danish Superliga Match
Risskov, Denmark – Aarhus convincingly defeated FC Fredericia in a match played at Ceres Park Vejlby, corresponding to the seventh matchday of the Danish Superliga. The match, officiated by Aydin Uslu, saw Aarhus control the ball for most of the game, holding 65% of the possession.
The first goal came in the 37th minute, scored by T. Bech after an excellent assist from R. Carstensen. Aarhus extended their lead before halftime with a goal from P. Mortensen in the 41st minute.
In the second half, Aarhus’ dominance continued. R. Carstensen scored in the 75th minute, consolidating the home victory. FC Fredericia managed to reduce the deficit in the 79th minute thanks to A. Mucolli, who received a precise pass from A. Dahl. However, the hope of a comeback was dashed when F. Beijmo converted a penalty in the 86th minute, sealing the definitive victory for Aarhus.
Despite FC Fredericia’s goal, Aarhus proved to be superior in all facets of the game, with 29 total shots (10 on target) compared to FC Fredericia’s 9 (5 on target). FC Fredericia received a yellow card in the 17th minute for F. Winther. Both Aarhus and FC Fredericia committed 11 fouls.
