Preston Advances in League Cup Thanks to Own Goal Against Barrow
Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria – In a match played at the SO Legal Stadium, Preston North End secured their advancement in the League Cup after defeating Barrow. The game, refereed by Ross Joyce, was decided thanks to an own goal by C. Raglan in the 67th minute.
Preston dominated possession with 62% compared to Barrow’s 38%, resulting in a greater number of shots. The visitors made a total of 22 shots, of which 5 were on target and 10 went wide. Barrow, on the other hand, attempted 7 shots, managing to place 3 on target and sending another 3 off target.
