Everton de Viña del Mar Delivers a Decisive Defeat to Huachipato at Estadio Sausalito
Viña del Mar – In a vibrant match held at Estadio Sausalito, Everton de Viña del Mar convincingly defeated Huachipato, showcasing an effective offensive game and a solid defense. The match, valid for matchday 17 of the Chilean Primera División, 2025 season, ended with a scoreline that reflects the home team’s dominance.
From the start, Everton showed superiority. S. Sosa opened the scoring early, with a goal in the 5th minute assisted by N. Baeza, and repeated the feat in the 16th minute, this time with an assist from A. Madrid. The constant pressure from the home team paid off again in the 24th minute, with a goal from C. Palacios, assisted by S. Sosa, extending the lead to 3-0.
Huachipato managed to reduce the deficit just before halftime, in the 45th minute, with a goal from C. Martinez. However, the reaction was not enough to contain Everton’s momentum.
