Bucaramanga Stuns Atlético-MG at Arena MRV
Belo Horizonte, July 25, 2025 – In a match held at Arena MRV, Atlético-MG suffered a surprising defeat against Bucaramanga in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana. Despite dominating possession with 60%, the home team failed to translate their superiority into goals. Bucaramanga, on the other hand, capitalized on their chances and secured the victory with a goal by J. Mena just before halftime, assisted by F. Sambueza.
The match, officiated by Uruguayan referee Esteban Ostojich, was marked by intensity and numerous fouls, resulting in a total of eight yellow cards.
