Los Angeles Galaxy Edges Out DC United in Card-Filled Match
Carson, California – The Los Angeles Galaxy secured a victory at Dignity Health Sports Park in a highly intense match against DC United that featured numerous yellow cards. The game, part of Matchday 22 of Major League Soccer, ended with a score favoring the home team.
The Galaxy dominated possession with 58% compared to DC United’s 42%. The first goal of the match came in the 23rd minute, courtesy of Marco Reus, assisted by Matheus Nascimento, giving the Los Angeles side the lead. In the second half, in the 53rd minute, Diego Fagundez extended the lead with a goal that solidified the Galaxy’s control.
