Denmark U21 Overcomes Netherlands U21 in Dynamic Match
Prešov, Slovakia – In a match held at the Futbal Tatran Arena under the watchful eye of Italian referee Simone Sozza, Denmark U21 triumphed over Netherlands U21 in the group stage of the UEFA U21 Championship. The match, which took place on June 15, 2025, saw Denmark capitalize on their opportunities against a dominant possession display from the Dutch team.
The score opened with an own goal by O. Provstgaard in the 19th minute, giving Netherlands an early lead. However, the joy was short-lived, as W. Osula equalized for Denmark in the 35th minute, assisted by O. Sorensen. Osula struck again at the beginning of the second half, in the 47th minute, assisted by O.
