Neman Crushes BATE Borisov in Goal-Filled Match
Barysaw (Borisov), Belarus – In an electrifying match of the Belarusian Premier League, Neman demonstrated its offensive power by defeating BATE Borisov at the Borisov Arena. The match, corresponding to the 12th round of the regular season, was marked by a shower of goals and a clear dominance of the visiting team.
I. Sadovnichiy opened the scoring for Neman in the 18th minute, assisted by O. Evdokimov, starting a goal fest. Although BATE Borisov responded quickly with a goal by A. Anufriev in the 20th minute, assisted by R. Piletskiy, Neman did not back down and regained the lead just a minute later with a goal by P. Savitskiy. A. Suchkov extended the lead in the 36th minute, consolidating Neman’s control.
The second half continued with the same frenetic pace. Y. Pantya scored in the 49th minute, followed by a goal by K. Kuchinskiy in the 57th minute, assisted by Pantya himself. BATE Borisov received a yellow card for E. Osipov in the 43rd minute and, despite their efforts, failed to counter Neman’s unstoppable offensive. In the final minutes, a Neman player received a yellow card in the 90th minute.
Despite the fact that no data on possession, shots, corners and fouls were provided, it is evident that Neman dominated the game and knew how to take advantage of goal opportunities. BATE Borisov, for its part, will have to analyze what happened to improve its performance in the next matches of the Premier League.
